GOD SAID: "Do you believe that, my Child?"
I SAID: "I believe you CAN, Lord. I'm just not sure you will."
GOD REPLIED: "I did not say 'I CAN strengthen you, I CAN help you, I CAN hold up your hand'.....I said 'I WILL' ".
Not only CAN God do these things.....strengthen, help and hold us up.....HE WILL! He WILL if we trust Him. He is more than able to do abundantly above all that we ask of think.
As I meditated on this verse, God brought this old sweet song to mind:
Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus
Just to take Him at His word
Just to rest upon His promise
Just to know
"Thus saith the Lord"
Jesus, Jesus
How I trust Him
How I've proved Him
O'er and O'er
Jesus, Jesus
Precious Jesus!!
Oh for grace
to trust Him more.
