In today's culture, teens are often portrayed as wild, disrespectful and out of control. Sadly, that is a correct portrayal of many. But it is not a true representation of ALL teens.
In 1999, after seeing the movie, SAVING PRIVATE RYAN, Ray "Bubba" Sorensen was inspired to paint a tribute to the veterans on an old rock outside of a quarry in Iowa. This large rock had long been a place where teens painted graffiti. After "Bubba" painted his first inspiring scene, no one has touched it. He has painted new scenes every year since.
Bubba is now married to "the love of his life", Maria and has his own business, Bubbazartwork. To quote Bubba "I couldn't do anything without the love and support of my family, friends, and the good Lord." Sounds like a fine young man to me.
