A GIFT FOR ALL SEASONS

It was a cold, starry night in Bethlehem.

A single cry pierced the darkness, and the Light of the World was born.

Outside, crowds stumbled over each other in the hustle and bustle of tax season. Yet inside a dark and smelly cave, a miracle was being birthed. Mary and Joseph held their tiny baby in their arms and wondered at the gift that had been given to them.

A single cry pierced the darkness, and LOVE was born.

Outside on a lonely hillside, shepherds kept watch over their flock of sheep. These were no ordinary sheep. These were the spotless lambs being held for the sacrifice for Passover.

A single cry pierced the darkness, and the Lamb of God was born.

Our Savior, sent to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, was born that night and all of Heaven sang out! "Glory to God in the Highest and on earth, Peace, goodwill toward men."

A single cry pierced the darkness, and the Prince of Peace was born.

In a non-descript little town, not in the capital of the world..........
In a cold, damp stable, not in a gilded palace.........
To a peasant girl and boy, not to royalty......................
A child was given.................

A single cry pierced the darkness, and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords was born. And the world was changed forever!!!!!!!!

God gave to the world, the greatest gift of all--------------JESUS!
