DAVID'S PRESCRIPTION FOR HEALTHY LIVING

FRET NOT! (Psalm 37:1) Easier said than done, yet continue and you will see HOW.

TRUST IN THE LORD AND DO GOOD (Psalm 37: 2) If we are trusting in the Lord, we have no reason to fret. Trusting in Him takes our eyes off of our circumstances and places them on Him instead.

DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD (Psalm 37: 4) Learn to ENJOY your relationship with the Lord. He loves you. He cares for you. You are His bride! Get to KNOW Him. Yearn for Him. Carve out time for just you and Him because you WANT to, not because you HAVE to.

COMMIT YOUR WAY TO HIM (Psalm 37: 5) Before your feet hit the floor in the morning, give your day to Him. Ask Him to guide your footsteps in the morning and you won't have to ask Him to forgive you at bedtime for all the wrong steps you made during the day. Ask Him to make you a blessing to those around you, to put a watch over your mouth, to guard your mind and your heart.

REST IN THE LORD (Psalm 37: 7a) If you are resting in Him, you are not striving and you are not fretting.

WAIT PATIENTLY FOR HIM (Psalm 37b) If we are resting in Him, we have committed our way to Him and we trust Him, we must wait on Him to work and move in His time and in His way....not ours.

CEASE FROM ANGER, FORSAKE WRATH (Psalm 37: 8) God is in control. Let HIM handle your situations.

DEPART FROM EVIL AND DO GOOD ((Psalm 37: 27)

"The steps of a good man (woman) are ordered by the Lord and He delights in his way. " Psalm 37:23
